Our Guests!

We officially have 209 of our closest friends & family attending our special day! Can't wait to see everyone!!!

The Seating Chart

I felt like the seating chart deserved its own post. To be honest, I was DREADING doing the seating chart. But once we started, it seemed to just fall together naturally. A few tables were obviously tricky, but I really feel like everything worked out perfectly!

Carrie had given us a few spreadsheets to make the arranging easier. The spreadsheets also were to make Carey Bunker at Lasso'd Moon's life easier as she created the escort cards. Carrie had also designed the layout of our room.

For your enjoyment here is our floor plan!

Can't wait to see this plan put into real life and all the tables filled with all our loved ones!

The Final Countdown!

So I know its been a few weeks since the last time I've posted...that is due to the fact that I've been EXTREMELY busy. In a nutshell this has been my life for the past two weeks:

1. Tied up lose ends at my job, my last day was the 20th.
2. Moved 99.9% out of my apartment in Waltham and to Bethel!
3. Organized all my life, i.e. getting ready for Robyn's wedding, getting ready for my own wedding, getting ready for the move to Georgia, and getting ready for the mini-moon!
4. Attended my Big, Robyn's, wedding! And was a bridesmaid and by her side as she became a wife!!
5. 100% moved out of my apartment, cleaned it, and headed to VT!

So basically I've moved once, going to be moving again, was a bridesmaid, and now soon-to-be a bride! Yeah...I want someone to live a day in my shoes and go through ALL that stress-free and with a smile on your face! :)

When people ask me if I'm stressed, anxious, nervous etc., my response is no! In regards to the wedding I've had no stress, its been a piece of cake! Mostly due to the part that everything is all set! (And we have Carrie my wedding planner!!) The only stress and anxiety I've felt is all the moving. Its stressful! Packing especially. When packing I basically made 6 piles of stuff. 1. Things I need for Robyn's wedding; 2. Things I need for my own wedding; 3. Things I need to survive for the past two weeks, such as toiletries and clothes; 4. Things for the mini-moon 5. Things I need to bring with me to Georgia; 6. Things that I can survive without for a month until the movers come and get the rest of our stuff.

Today Jeff and I completely moved me out of my apartment, left the keys and said bye to Waltham and my first home :( It was such a weird feeling. I've lived in Waltham for the past 6 years, crazy to think about! However, we then headed into Boston to pick up my DRESS and all my other bridal goodies! So that excitement seemed to over-power any hint of sadness.

Now we have a full week planned of fun stuff, and oh yeah...WE ARE GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEKEND! T-5 DAYS!!!

Teens

Just realized the countdown is now in the TEENS. T-16 days!!!!!

Big Things!

Well today is my last day at my current job, Shields & Company. I've been with them for almost 3 years. 1 as an intern, and 2 full-time. Crazy how fast time has gone!

Not only is it my last day here, but I'm also moving out of my apartment in a few short hours. I'm really going to miss my apartment. It was the perfect first home for me!

My transition from college to 'real life' was awesome. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I had a great job and a great home!

I am now ready to start the next step in my life...becoming a wife, becoming an ARMY WIFE, and becoming the Southern Belle I've always been meant to be!

Bring it on world!

The Final Fitting

Yesterday was my final dress fitting! Lets just say that I am SOOOO excited to wear it for real in 18 days!!! Everything is perfect and better then I ever dreamed of! My shoes match perfectly, I'm so in love with my veil and my headpiece, and I feel like a real princess in my dress. Theres not one thing I would change! So YAY!

My Mom also had her final dress fitting. She looked stunning, and she is going to be the most beautiful Mother-of-the-Bride ever!

A very successful day for dresses!

My Fabulous Bachelorette Weekend!

With every engagement usually comes three major events...The Bridal Shower, the Bachelorette, and then the WEDDING! I had my major #2 event a couple weekends ago! Crazy to think my next major event is my Wedding!!!!! :)

Anyways, my bridesmaids planned an amazing, fun-packed weekend to celebrate me, my upcoming nuptials, and also one of my last weekends of being "Single"!

They kicked off the weekend with a lovely dinner at my apartment, just the bridesmaids and me! It was so nice to just have some quality time with them to just relax, catch up and just have fun. Katelyn made her famous chicken parm, Tina brought our favorite college snack- cheesy bread, and Meredith brought some Bubble Gum Vodka!

Saturday morning the bridesmaids "surprised" me and we went out to a really nice brunch at Aquitaine in Chestnut Hill. What was special about it was my Mom came with us! The food was amazing and the company was even more amazing!

Saturday afternoon I spent some time in Boston with my parents (They were in the area for a wedding) while the bridesmaids set up! Later in the afternoon I returned to my apartment to find it pink, sparkly, and glam! I loved it. It was fun getting ready all together. My fabulous little, Amanda, was so gracious to do my hair. I told her I wanted, big pageant hair to go along with my "bachelorette tiara!" One of my most favorite details of the entire weekend was they had matching shirts made. My shirt was white and said, "The Future Mrs. Bender" and on the back it said Bride, June 5th, 2010. All the bridesmaids shirts were pink and on the back said "Bridesmaid, June 5th, 2010." And all the guests shirts were black! It was suchh an adorable idea. I really felt united as a group- and when we went out people knew exactly what we were celebrating and that we were all together. What made me the most happiest was seeing all my girlfriends wearing the shirts, seeing my name, and seeing my wedding date. It was so surreal. And it was such a good feeling knowing that all of my true friends were there to celebrate me. I really am soo lucky to have such a great group of girls!

All my guests started arriving around 6pm and we ate, we drank, we danced, and we had fun! A little after 8:30 my chariot arrived. The Party Bus. My most favorite moments were on the party bus. It was so much fun to just dance and party with all my favorite ladies. No boys! Tina- the DJ- made sure the beats were fresh and the party was hopping! Haha. We made a few stops at a few bars in Boston, where a scavenger hunt went on. Nothing bad, just fun, innocent things!

Overall the night was awesome. It was SO much fun. Even though we knew that this wasn't only my bachelorette, it was also the last time we would ALL go out together in Boston for a long, long time, we didn't let that dampen our spirits. Our spirits were high and we celebrated like there was no tomorrow!

Looking back, the memory that is the most vivid for me, was the end of the night. We had just had such an amazing night, we were all together on the bus, and Tina puts on Heaven. It brings me to tears thinking about that moment. When you graduate college, you really find out who your true friends are. The friends who are truly happy for you, who are always by your side, and only wish the best for you. Those friends were surrounded around me singing Heaven. <3

Thank you to all those who came, thank you for making it a memorable night that I will never forget. And a special thank you to all my bridesmaids. I loved every second of that weekend, love you girls <3

The Hair & Makeup Trial

This past weekend my Mom, my MOH, and I went back up to the Stowe Mountain Lodge for my hair and makeup trial!

Stowe Mountain Lodge has one of the top Spa's in Vermont and in New England, so obviously we decided to utilize it for the wedding. I'm so excited to be in such a nice, relaxing environment with all my favorite girls. It will be a nice spa morning before all the hustle and bustle!

So as for my hair trial, I really had NO idea what I wanted. The one thing I did know was I wanted something very elegant but soft and romantic at the same time, to compliment my dress. I found a few pictures, but none really caught my eye. I figured I would just let the stylist do her thing and we would go from there. We ended up combining a few pictures to get the hair style I was envisioning. It took two tries, but the final result was absolutely perfect. It was better then what I was hoping for. My headpiece also worked perfectly with the style I wanted. I truly felt like a princess and a bride!

My makeup trial went very smoothly. I lovedddd my makeup artist- she was so fun and calming. She also said I look like a "Bond Girl" and I should consider trying out to be the next one. Obviously with a compliment like that made me glow before she had applied any makeup. I let her do her thing as well, I told her what I liked and what I definitely didn't like, and I told her I wanted a more natural look. It ended up being perfect!

So hair and makeup trial done! If only they can make me look exactly like that for the real thing! Crossing fingers!

Sorry no pics, have to wait until the real thing!!!

One Month!

T- 1 MONTH!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!
